Much more terrifying playing alone, especially with a super active ghost. The ambiance adds to the terror as well; from the eerie 'oooouh' tone that plays whenever you enter the building, to the ghost talking back to you and/or throwing objects at you, the near pitch-black rooms you roam around trying to find the room the ghost is haunting, and the heartbeat - oh god the heartbeat - whenever the ghost is in sight. This game truly lives up to its name; I now fear (and hate) ghosts.
