The visual improvements on this classic game look fantastic, and the fun little swap from classic graphics to modern graphics was charming. I am a little upset that they kept the same classic ♥♥♥♥-tier AI for skirmishes, especially considering the work that has already been done with OpenRA.

I'm hoping for an AI update in the future but, I won't hold my breath.

This newest patch is the dumbest way to address on-going issues within the game. Flying dinos are completely ruined. They have like no stamina now. Quetzals are forced to land once they run out of stamina. Now more dismounting in air to regain stamina. Farming with quetzals is no longer viable.

I believe this was an attempt to address the severity of the cross-server wiping but, it didn't directly address the issue. Cluster grenades are still broken. Server transferring is still a thing, and anybody that put their dinos in obelisks before the patch was unaffected.

This could also be somewhat of a knee-jerk reaction to the release of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S: BATTLEGROUNDS, similarly to how Wildcard released that no dinos 150 man pvp server when Conan: Exiles was released. To which I have to say, stop trying to be other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games. Dinosaurs are the ONLY reason for longevity in this game. Honestly, the devs need to roll back to before the inventory patch and undo the flying dinosaur nerf, or they're going to see a huge drop in the amount of people playing this regularly.

If you roll back flying dinos and address in-game issues properly, I'll change this review.
