Recommended: "i hate destiny"
It was funny, because even through the rough times, I was still willing to play this game I love.

I cannot recommend Destiny anymore. Unless you pick the expansions up at a crazy cheap price, and play through them to get an idea of what Destiny's incredible story is about. This game is not worth the waste of time Bungie has turned it into. The current end-game is a grueling nonstop grind of old and well hated activities, simply to make multiple arbitrary numbers go up. Bungie is incapable of making new content at a rate that is even close to engaging, and regularly make the wrong calls for updates, either to the game, or in development blogs. The new content we even do get is obviously a shameless reuse of near decade old assets. Anyone with eyes can see Bungie purely want to save every penny possible. The only team that I think is allowed to spend any time on, or put any care, into the game is the incredible narrative team.

Years ago I was given a ton of grief for saying it was embarrassing to play Destiny, when we were being given constantly broken content. I wish I could go back to those days, when we were at least being given SOMETHING.

tldr, play the game for the story if you can cheap, don't actually waste your ever shortening life grinding this nonsense.
