Love the series, love the game. It will take time for the game to be refined to a point everyone on KF2 will jump over.
As of current state (2025 end of Oct):
NEED:
- Server browser (There are not enough players and keep solo'ing and solo'ing shouldn't be the experience of a coop shooter. Then when I am able to join a lobby, it's usually a solo or duo late into the 6-round game)
- Changes to loadout when waiting to join the round (If I know the team needs a medic, I would have chose medic, why do i need to switch at the traders?)
- Graphics settings (I don't know why I can't switch to 1440p without modifying the settings ini file...)
- Graphics settings, gamplay? (AMD FSR causes the green player outline and certain animations to look horrible, there needs to be options to fine tune)
- Gameplay settings (Need a button to toggle player outline / nametag, it's frustrating when people keep jumping around and having their tags block line of sight)
- Ability to access perks, battle pass, armoury without returning to stronghold :(
- Assignment could use a button to show progress in-game
- I am not sure why the flame animations look to have lower FPS?
- Environment hazards hitbox can be meh
- Loadout pricing could really be shown along the budget, I can't build what I need within the budget without going back and forth
- There are cheats and you can't report nor do anything about it

What works well:
- Weapons feel nice, sound, recoil animation, reloads... all feel quite nice
- The FPS avg and 1% are fairly nice!
- The dodge mechanics is a nice addition
- Mobs' more aggressive movement, ability to choose different paths, break hallways and walls, trying to surround the players, all feels pretty nice
- Mutations to some of the rounds can significantly affect what you should buy. It pushes people off their comfort zones!
- Zips are fun and essential to clutching, it helps develop new play-style in the series
- Environment hazards, turrets, tools, they are fun variety to play style, in some classes, it helps a lot to save money

Conclusion:
- Given the reputation of the series, I am pretty certain KF3 will turn out to be an incredible addition to the series! Devs just need time to adjust and improve the game!
- The current state pushes you to wait for your mates to create a lobby :( If you are a solo player, you wouldn't mind all that much
- Use your secondary (pistol) wisely, they are incredibly powerful if you build them up with mods

Really fun turn based game with a large variety of weapons, omens (perks) and randomized traits (for each character).
Praise the shop and reward randomizer algorithm for good gears!

A game ruined by DRM,
Game doesn't run great because of DRM (steam version will launch steam + origin :)).
Mechanics
Game mechanics is classic NFS, your opponents will get relative boosts, meaning they will get insane acceleration and infinite grip when the game "wants" it to be. You can drive pass a cop 300 kmh and still get caught up in 1 second :) or NOX at a beginning of a race to 180kmh, and your opponents are right there besides you :)
Story
The story is semi-decent, audio is pretty okay, a nice production.
Cars
The car selection is great, lots of cars, lots of classics, lots of mods, if you are familiar with the series, you won't be disappointed.
My dislikes
Several classic UI bad stuffs from EA, shakiness when the characters chat in the cut scene, this isn't a michael bay movie... just why... sometimes too much flare from the police gadgets. Oh, the intros, make sure to lookup how to skip them.

KF2 is one of the best COOP game I have played, with a mix bagged of game modes, and skill levels! You can try hard and have the really satisfying feelings, or sit back and pick off the zeds (zombies) and listen to musics!
The developers constantly update the games with new features (guns, game mode, zeds skins, balancing the gameplay), it's definitely worth the price!
Years after the release, new maps, weapons and mobs are still being released!

A wine and chill game, definitely on the casual side. If you have about 4~6hrs to kill (waste), then it's the game.

Technical side:
+ Game runs reasonably well on not top notch hardware
+ Not insanely large sized (<8GB)
+ Alt-tabs great!
+ Graphics, flow of animations are very decent [just a little bit of rough edges in the starting menu]

- Game loads incredibly long even on SSD (poor optimization / DRM issue? Check Reddit)
- For no reasons, it includes a lot of useless additional languages (audio)
- The Dev intros are LOUD AF [definitely lookup how to replace the bik files online]
- Could have done a better job w/ optimization [or at least make it so I can't see it]

Gameplay side:
Let's be honest, who really takes this game serious seriously?
+ FUN, definitely worth the money ($32)
+ Online community is reasonably sized, if you run into issues, don't know how the game works, "Googling" answers is super easy

- As a beginner noobie, the "protips" the AI gives? They are like background infos and info straight from a manual, frankly, not quite useful
- Policies UI, quite crappy really, in late-game era, it becomes harder to read all of them and by upgrading the policy, the unassign automatically?
- Bombers are not very effective against anything really [Really only useful w/ nukes]
- Late game AT units are not effective, like at all... [Glass cannons]
