only if the skill checks give faster gen progression. As they get harder they go from 1% to 5% progression. High risk high reward. But some maps only have 4 pallets.... fix that first then think about a new gen mechanic.

Had a very interesting idea said in chat today and wanted to share it.

Giv gens an overheat mechanic. The overheat doesnt stop them from doing the gen, but if a survivor has been on a gen without stopping for x time they get increasingly harder skillchecks.

overall decent survivor, got mad when i should've just taken the game i had and left (really did it to my self for playing onyro. made it up later in stream, and we can hopefully move on from what happened in the moment ^^;
