Just an all around great game. Nothing groundbreaking, but good enough to see through to completion. Plenty of content. Ship editor is fun. Dialogue is witty. Didn't encounter any bugs. Gameplay reminds me of SPaZ 1. Priced well for what it is. On sale its a no-brainer if you enjoy Sci-fi.

I didn't play the developer's first game but I will be looking forward to their next.

The fact that this game was made by a solo dev is amazing. He's really done a great job with this game. If you enjoy action RPGs or the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series this game is for you.
-multiple control schemes/camera types (old school isometric/CRPG, some hybrid types, and a more actiony type)
-quests and sidequests, including some that have branching storylines
-multiple crafting/cooking sytems
-farming system
-skills system
-looting/ inventory management system including multiple ammo calibers and types, ranged and melee weapons

Very minor gripes would be the occasional grammatical error, some minor bugs here and there. That being said, the developer is extremely active and usually fixes bugs the DAY OF being reported and releases them in the next patch. He even responds on his Discord to anyone who needs help with the game.

I got this on sale with all the DLC. This game is easily worth it at its full asking price. Buy it and support actual good, communicative devs.

Hidden Gem

This is a great turn-based tactics game. Has everything you would want from a game like this. Huge variety of units, plenty of upgrades, hero units that can equip items, huge variety of options.

Many game mechanics can be customized to your liking - for example you can make all units able to equip items as if they were a hero unit.

Different factions to play as but you can recruit units of any faction into your army (some may suffer morale penalties depending on their race/alignment)

Game always seems "fair" and the enemy AI is actually pretty good.

Definitely worth checking out.

Great pixel art, gameplay, progression. A lot of content. Well worth the price. One of the best recent metroidvanias. Playing on the hardest difficulty and it is a real refreshing challenge.

Even better than Castle in the Darkness.

This is a fantastic metroidvania. Probably one of the best on steam, up there with Hollow Knight and Bloodstained.

Pros
-Great gameplay.
-Large map.
-Good level/room design.
-Multiple playable characters.
-Many secret rooms, items, and upgrades.
-Optional content including bosses and unlockable playable characters.
-Satisfying currency/upgrade system.
-Unlockable bonus modes.
-Good, unintrusive story.

Cons
-Maxing out all upgrades can be a bit of a grind, albeit optional.
-Boss Rush mode needs rebalancing.

Took me just over 20hrs to 100% the game. Well worth the $20.

Recommended for metroidvania fans.

+ Good sense of progression with multiple movement/ sequence unlocking upgrades.
+ Backtracking is not overdone, many cases will reward you with optional weapons and level-up items.
+ Interesting lore
+ Awesome lovecraftian enemy design.
+ Challenging bosses
+ Difficulty is definitely challenging but not overly so as some reviewers have said. Simply requires learning the GRD system and enemy attack patterns, all of which are telegraphed to some extent.
+ Two optional bosses

- Some animations seem stiff
- Minor glitches with 16:10 Fullscreen

I got a solid 13 hours out of this. Well worth the asking price.

Great free to play co-op third person shooter.
