I know this game is a bit old for steam's timeline, with the community mostly dried up and moved on from the live events that were previously held and mentioned in the top reviews. However, I can personally vouch for the utmost quality and enjoy-ability this game holds. I've never been so gripped by the mysteries a game could hold, matter of fact this is my first ARG, anyways. I've had a blast mostly by myself, but in addition to streaming with friends who are also researching, we've made it a group operation to substitute for the community being mostly fizzled out (at least for The Black Watchmen, A&S games still have a thriving and diverse set of people active in the discord and the forums, where you can still meet and people and get help needbe,) and made it an absolute blast. If you're on the fence, play the demo. Those first three training missions are a really good introduction, I was hooked by then. Be warned though, it is difficult as time progresses - with my only complaint being how there are gaps in difficulty at some portions of season one (I'm only on mission 13 at the moment.) With little authority that I pertain, I say take a chance and play the game. It's honestly pretty insightful and immersive, not only exciting and fun.

This is is an important game for those who are fans of the social deduction genre. Even though the price may be intimidating, the community is still active and the game is certaintly fun. A must-buy if you love mafia-esqe games, this is coming from a veteran player of the genre.

I have a lot to learn, but also a ton of fun to have. So far, I'm playing Brazil. Just got out of my first war with Peru and Bolivia. Had the whole continent against those two, and keep in mind I still have no idea what I'm doing. It's pretty accessiable imo, and loads of fun. Get it on sale, and uhhh har arrr! the DLC if you can't afford it.

For those debating the purchase, hopefully I'll be a able to give you the motivation to buy this game. Enter the Gungeon is a (fast) paced dungeon crawler with guns galore, and trust me, you'll never be short of something either completely broken or completely stupid. Either way, it's a ton of fun. The synergies, the bosses, the secrets, all of it is just amazing and quality is what this game radiates. For someone not even that large of a fan for this genre, I can fully say it is worth it.

Incredibly fun, realistic, and immersive. Suffers from lacking optimization but aside from that it is worth it.

Although I cherish many, many hours within this game - the developer(s) constantly seem to respond to criticism in terrible ways. Ever since Ellie left, I understand that Xblade has had a way harder time developing, although the game has made little progress. Due to such, the queue times have been way longer, the community diminishing by the day. I recommend this game, although not in this condition or time. As mentioned in previous reviews, the community is quite toxic, even if it's partially dead. I don't know, I just don't think it's worth your money as of now. Xblade loves to start drama also, and I've put all of my patience into him. Oh well.




Amazing. Actually an amazing game, and beats all of the competition in the Social Deduction genre. Many, many hours were spent enjoying the game.

The community is what you'd expect. A few interesting individuals, but otherwise well-rounded and fair.

Do NOT expect to jump in without and knowledge. Read the wiki, and if ya want join the Discord to talk to other new players. It's a complicated game.

So... In conclusion, buy it! I play everyday, and do not have any games where I feel like I wasted my time aside from the worst games where you die night one. Past that though, it's a good time and certainly worth it.

An amazing, RNG based game. It's a very difficult game though, so play with descretion..

I own FTL for both my iPad and PC, and have spent a total of 100 hours+ in this game. Your first ship is The Kestral, with a Burst Laser II and an Artemis cannon. The more you play the more ships you earn through either quest or winning.

The devs are great and they even allowed you to have Advanced Edition for free, which is a whole new game really.

I reccomend this game greatly, buy it!

Blackwake, and honest, fair review.

I'm pretty skeptical about many Early Access titles. especially Alpha games. This game is different though.

Everything is very balanced, and teamwork is very important. There is no way in hell you could manage a ship on your own.

What is this?
Blackwake is a Naval Team FPS focused on Navy VS Pirate combat in open waters. There are a plethora of modes, but the dominant one currently is TDM. (Team DeathMatch). There are many different weathers and even the time of the day will change occasionaly. You will be assigned one of many roles by a captain that you vote up at the start of the round. You could be running supplies to people, fixing holes caused by opposing ships, and even shoot cannons! Be sure to listen to the captain though, as he has the final decision on the ship and can kick you off if you don't listen.

What stands out in Blackwake?
The community and combat really give this game its name. They're always willing to help, and for such a low playerbase currently there is still full servers that are played on frequently. People love to sound like actual pirates and Navy men. The combat? Ohmyyyyygodddd it's so satisfying. Loading a cannon, and firing at an enemy ship, killing 3 people and sending the ship down. Ramming is done great and is filled with action. You could be below deck when you randomly here a big, powerful explosion of wood and water flying everywhere. Holes appear, maybe the nose of your ship breaks, and a storm of oppenents rush the ship. Everything about it really gives it fun.

You really like to give the game a good name. Now tell me the cons.
It's in EA. Infact, Alpha! It's very early in development, but the developers really work on their game to balance and add stuff. There's updates pretty much weekly. There is the fair share of bugs though, but the majority is clipping. You won't have to deal with it much though. I wish there were more players, and maybe larger servers for more ship to ship combat. A lot of the other modes aren't as populated, while they are a fair share of fun. The learning curve? Not too steep, but you still will have a challenge getting into the game initially.

Ahh, Subnautica. This game is very refreshing and feels new. This is what I've been looking for.

The game explained: Subnautica is a game of where you are a crashed pilot on an alien-type planet. The only thing that you have is the ocean. You are challenged to survive and build, which is a must-have for this game.


Amazing graphics - If you have the right GPU.
Refreshing - No other games currently like this, and it is performing it's idea greatly.
The Devs - Development on this game has been fantastic and it contiunes to go smooth.
And a whole lot more.

No game is perfect, and since this is an Early Access game it is expected to see cons.

Long loading - Look, I understand it takes alot to set everything in place and make sure your system is ready, but I feel as if it takes too long. I've even lost interest in playing because I get sidetracked.

Some bugs - I'm not going to start whining about this but of course there always are bugs. For instance, when you hit a certain fish with the knife it teleports away.

Little to no options - Look, we need more options for customization in the main menu and in game.

Can be demanding for low-end users - If you do not have the best hardware, you may be in trouble. It's a very demanding game so it will use alot of GPU and CPU.


Do I reccomend this game? Yes. Even for it's flaws every update adds something new and fixes issues. This is what Early Access should be like in other games.
