Until recently I had unreserved praise for this game. It was an excellent game, well polished with huge potential for long time gameplay, all without cramming the need for premium currency down your throat. However, my vault of 143 hours recently vanished. There was so much work, so many missions, so many unique stories behind each character that were suddenly lost. I can't recommend this game to people if all the fun you have with it is for nothing.

Guns of Icarus is a highly underrated game throwing a team of 4 players (or AI if any are missing) into a steampunk era were ships have an array of powder power to fire at enemies. As a team, you can choose from a unique selection of ships that each hvae their own strengths and weaknesses. Through coordination and team effort, everyone pitches in to repair the ship, spot enemies, blow up those spotted enemies, and help others in whatever task is prioritized at hand.

A really fun game that has not recieved the attention it deserves, it has both wonderful graphics and great team effort gameplay, all set in wonderfully unique 3D maps. The ships look great, customizing weapons is a joy, it just holds that level of care developers have when they really care for their game. When I first got the game it was quite buggy, but still fun. After numerous updates however that quickly changed, the game was more polished and streamline; it added to the already fantastic experiance I had with this game

Every single element in this game is wonderfully executed, and the graphics are pleasing to the eyes. There are still a number of bugs in the game that need to be addressed, and i'm not sure when they are going to be. One other problem I have is that team selection can be slower than frozen molasses, it just grinds to a halt. Common un-spoken etiquette is to switch teams if there is an unbalance, but it takes ages for people to join again if they leave. If there was a system were instead of creating public games there was a pre-set number of games provided by the devs that you could automatically join with friends, that would be great. Creating private games should still be included though, since some people just want to play with friends. If this issue is addressed my rating would go up by 1/2 a point.

The game that combined Minecraft and CoD, a concept to remember. The trailer outlined a game that would be ever so popular with gamer and player alike. This is not that game. A bland surface of my expectations, this has let me down to the point of regret. With a bland combat system and elements of blocks that just don't seem to fit, the combination of Minecraft and CoD almost couldn't have been done worse.

An absolutely fantastic concept with elements, that if improved, would have been fantastic. The idea of creating an enviroment that you can play in is a wonderful idea, especially if used during a First Person Shooter like this were the landscape is so interactive. I only wish this was a better game.

All these variables seemed like they were taped together, it seems like the developers put more money in the trailer than the game. The elements of this game are a fantastic match, but rather being wed in a wonderful flurry of passion they are merely going for coffee for the rest of their lives. So much potential, just no effort put into execution, similar to CoD all the developers cared about was money.

A counter recommendation I have would be Brick Force, a game where these pieces are put together in a format that is much more streamline that this. It has many elements of pay-to-play, but as a free to play player I have successfully achieved very high ranks against people a much higher level than me

First and foremost, this is NOT a copy of Minecraft. Many consider it a "rip-off" of the popular indie sandbox game, a game that I have put over 5000 hours in to. This is not that game, in a different genre it's in a league of it's own.

Terraria is a sandbox sidescroller game with many well-rounded RPG elements laced in. It holds a level of complication that at first can seem daunting, but using in-game NPCs and the info-packed Wiki can lead you in the right direction. I have a good amount of experiance with the game but even now I have to look at the Wiki once in a while. Gameplay has a wide variety of accessories, weapons, armor, plenty of items and iterations of items to boot. The sidescroller enviroment can be seen as simplistic to some but it makes the game that much more fun, with enemies and mobs that really use that 2D enviroment to help or hurt you. Terraria utilizes that element of gameplay to an incredible extent, it uses it to make the game as fun as it can get. If anyone likes Sandbox RPGs with OP swords and sniper rifles, this is your game.

A brilliant combination of the classic 2D sidescroller with modern lighting and effects, it places RPG elements in a fantastic relationship with a sandbox sidescroller, which in reality could not have been executed in a more professional manner. With it's low price and fantastic gameplay, this is an obvious mark of a development team that really cares for the game and the players, rather that revenue. Years after the final version of the game developers secretly crafted an update that would spark a new era in Terraria. This is truly a great developer, a developer that creates great game.

Although the element of sophistication is just an additive to the long list of positives I have to this game, to many it would be seen as too much. Such a game has you looking at the wiki over and over again to really get the hang of it, but once you do it's something you can play all day.

I am in no way a proffesional player of this genre, but I always recognize a good game when I see one. I started playing Fate from Wildtangent, after that I was addicted to this type of game. Fast forward a few years, I purchased Torchlight II and it was everything I have ever hoped for. It is an excellent game, unique bosses, way too much loot, wonderfully customizable skills, a game that was truly made with care from the developers. It holds it's ground as an excellent game, laced with fun and really shows that the devs didn't care just for profit. It's really refreshing to see a game that has had this much care put into it. I will be playing it for hundreds more hours.

Very enjoyable gameplay, lots of loot, very rounded enemies with unique skills to kill you. Playing with friends is awesome, you can all level at the same time which is a great feature built in to this game.

It can sometimes have TOO much loot, but this isn't that much of a downside. It can become a little repetative, so I reccomend playing it at Veteran difficulty.

A game that has truly captured and enveloped my love for nonsense, from one-click modding to creating your own spaceship to destroy watermelon-covered enemies, this is less of a game and more of a program to satisfy the intense imaginations of human minds.
If you can imagine anything, this is everything.

You can play games in this game. You can make games within this game to play within other games. You can create a world where anything is possible, anything can come to life or you can shoot anything to denounce it of such. It is such a wonderfully crafted experiance that, if anyone enjoys sandboxes with the ability to do literally anything, will enjoy for years.

Downsides? Literally almost none, it can be buggy at times but I guess that's expected when you're taking a TF2 Scout, bending it's limbs to high heaven, and attaching rocket boosters to it's buttocs and sending it towards some Combine soldiers in a pink watermelon fort. Oh, and the rocket boosters shoot out confetti.

Just awesome, but buy it when it's on sale, it's awesome to burn things for cheap :D
