For it being "Early Access", it really doesn't excuse how money hungry they are. They absolutely made sure you can pay money to them before they gave you a finished game, remember that.

Edit:
They still have not fixed any of the visual bugs I have been documenting, like improper texturing, missing meshes, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up meshes, etc. I don't see how you can keep adding payed for cosmetics but you do not focus on the cosmetics of the game, how do you expect anyone to want to pay for an unfinished game you refuse to finish?

Overall, I do not recommend it as a standalone game, even if I enjoy it, it is just... there's so much wrong. The mechanics are okay and the gameplay in general is meh, the cosmetics are very poor and do not look good, the nature of paying them to have cosmetics is just not good. Put more effort into your stuff, use maps, use reflections, normals, emissions, everything. I see nothing but amature work, even if I'm kinda intoxicated right now and I did just play this game and very much enjoyed it. I don't recommend it purely because of the lack of comitment to the player and the overwhelming greed that I can see and feel, even beyond playing the game. I have no problem paying a company for cosmetics, but they have to be decent at the very least and not just some kid putting a png over the top of a texture someone else made, while not caring about anything of the texture or how it looks. Look at your vanilla items and then compare them to the newly added payed for, in-game cosmetics. Not even DLC, just new content behind a paywall, right. Really look at it, roatate the character, look at how the mesh interacts with it's environment, the lighting. Literally everything from if it stands out, if it reflects, if it does not reflect, if you're going for a decal on a shirt look to a dye look to anything. Even the boards use the same reflection map with very little if none difference between textures. Amature work man, for real. It was so cool learning how to make metal look more metally, but then I actually took it a step further and I was like man, sometimes metal doesn't reflect, man sometimes there's two different metals next to each other, man damascus steel exists. I experimented with metalness and reflective maps until I liked what I came out with, and rotating my textures actually makes a world of difference and interacts with each lighting system for each game differently. I just always loved seeing how some parts would reflect where others would not in certain angles, but then you turn it, the reflections invert and what used to be dull is now reflecting and what was is now not. Just like real life, just like polished rocks, just like real metal. So boo on you suckers for making such a mistake of a game that literally doesn't take a person with any knowledge to immediately see it's a soul-less cash grab. There's nothing here and man if I'm being harsh maybe you deserve it because we sure as hell payed for you to be critiqued if nothing else. If our money got us anything, it gave us the right to say your game is bad. I hate the missions, I hate the rewards, I hate the store, I hate the boards, I hate the limited brands, I hate the limited realism in graffiti, like seriously no matter where I look it's just limitation and E.A. watered down humanity. Why is this even a game. If you do anything, just remake the whole map, remake the whole cosmetic everything, re-emberse everyone with new items when everything is done, make real ♥♥♥♥ for once and keep the mechanics because damn. The only fun thing you have going for you is the bugs and ♥♥♥♥, and I take the good with the bad, the fact you glaze over glaring imperfections all over the map, but man it's so fun being able to jump high. I know i'll lose what makes me happy before I gain what makes me feel better about the game and that's so sad to me. I was going to say earlier before being so harsh, there might not be nothing, but if there is it is a seed. A literal seed waiting for the right environment the right context to even begin to grow. And this seed is literally secluded in my mind to just the person making the cosmetics. It's kinda like looking at this giant project and realizing there's nothing. I get it though it's just a game right. but you still want money so ♥♥♥♥ you. Take something to heart and keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going for once instead of robbing the very people giving you any support. Be smart at the very least to appease the players so you get more money at the very least instead of burning the few twigs you have left.

I appreciate the constant work they've put forth since the update, and coming back to this game, I'm appreciative that they kept the game, regardless of whatever else, to it's core values.

Made by the same people who made Happy Wars.

Seriously great port of the genre and style of game to a pc that works very well and has many well made and well presented cosmetics. I just wanted there to be, in this retrospect of realizing who made it, missions or in-game methods of unlocking things. Like quests that give you the skins for weapons, armors, etc. The game is so much like happy wars that I can not only feel it in the core aspect of the gameplay, but conceptually, as well as enjoying it in a very similar way to Happy Wars. I think it's a great game and I do believe you should check it out.

They really should promote or advertise that they made happy wars somewhere on the title screen or something, something to get you acquainted once again with these people and immediately realize it's a "sequel", in a way, to the previous installment, but in a much broader tone than cartoonish stuff that doesn't breach the age range that well.

Absolutely. It's a kind of game I've been waiting for for a very long time. It's an open world cowboy game that doesn't suck absolute ♥♥♥♥. Also it's currently being worked on so that means it has extreme potential of being "that game" and I seriously hope it goes a good direction with it's development.

It's definately a game I'd go back to, they even change the game fundamentally every now and again, fixing cheap exploits to get ♥♥♥♥, while not taking what you got away. I know that sounds like a bad thing, but think of it like tutorial mode and you make 160 thousand cheeseburgers and then the steps to make cheeseburgers have like 60 steps added, farming sesame seeds, making bread from scratch, herding-training-slaughtering cows, learning how to cook, learning what a grill is, etc. There's just something satisfying about the devs being that into the game to flesh it out that much, even though it's a bit daunting to jump right in after an update like that
