I've encountered quite a few reviews and comments about this game regarding it's reset. If you are like me and get bored with a game when you reach the end, this game is for you. I'm normally the type of person who puts somewhere around 50 - 300 hours into a game and then want to move on to something fresh and new. It's very rare for me to find a game that appreciates the fact that most of the fun is had IN the grind and not after. Every fresh reset is an opportunity to learn from past mistakes, try a new build, build your house/base differently, roll new randomized perks (known as mematic specializations in game), and generally get to know new people. I find the repetitive nature therapeutic in a way. Engaging, beautiful, fun, and very re playable! It's a game I lose time to, and that's rare now days.

If you are a fan of base-building, crafting, and resource gathering this is the game for you. One great feature the game offers is a plethora of settings to change how the game plays, as well as multiple ways to make the game easier/difficult. Very versatile depending on your play style. For example servers are usually PVP or PVE specific. However if you are looking for something with amazing graphics this won't be your game. Game mechanics more than make up for the lack in graphical quality though.

Great survival game with a twist of creepy. Really fun game if you go in blind! Also play with friends if you can!

My Wife and I play this game together. We now neglect our actual chores for our virtual chores. She cheats on me with her digital boyfriend, while I brew beer in my shed. Our marriage has never been better! Thanks Stardew Valley!
