Let me tell you a story about the day i died:
I was running around a Survival hideout trying to clear of a horde with my shotgun, i get trapped in a corner where i try to push myself out of danger, i narrowly escape the horde but to little avail, for a zombie bit my hand!
I manage to make some distance to the hordes. seeking shelter in a small shed
i'm lucky, i find a saw in the shed, with this saw i take the only oppotunity i have to save my own life, i start sawing off my own hand! (Mod installed: The only Cure)
I let out a HOWL as the bone gets severed and i find myself without my left hand!
I have no time to gather my thoughts, as the scream pulled the horde to the little shelter i was in!
I now find myself on the run, with a cloth wrapped around the stump where my hand used to be!
I make distance to the horde, try to ready myself for battle by equipping my shotgun, but it fails, how am i supposed to hold it ?! it falls to the ground and i have to leave it as the horde is closing in!

I equipped my trusty 1911 and start going to town on the horde, i panic, i'm in pain, but i empty one clip after the other into the endless horde!
I suddenly get ambushed from behind, i quickly stumple away, i'm scared, did i just get bitten again?
I make safe distance to the horde to check myself, Laceration on my neck is spewing out blood, i use my last bandage to mend myself and with little hope i count my remaining bullets, 2 full clips and 3 loose rounds. I'm royally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as one might say.

I empty the two clips into the huge mass of dead bodies scrambling towards me, fill one clip with the remaining 3 rounds and i start sprinting towards a house. Luckily the door is open, i let myself in, find the upstairs bathroom and close the door!

There i am, sitting on the floor of a bathroom, listening to my imminent doom banging on every door and window on the floor below me, what options do i have?
I take stock of my situation:

1 bottle of disinfectant
2 Canned food
1 Magazine with 3 bullets
1 Handgun
1 Half Full bottle of water

That's it, my complete inventory tallied up in seconds.

i'm desperate, lonely, missing my HAND! Missing the everyday struggle of a normal life, but here i am, sitting on the bathroom floor, waiting for death to get me.

So i decide to embrace my faith.... I Turn my trusty sidearm against myself, tuck it under my chin, timing couldn't have been better, for the second i gather my courage the bathroom door starts rattling on it's hinges! THEY'ERE HERE !!!

i close my eyes and pull the trigger..
