I play video games, sometimes

But I think the saddest thing is about, for how much time I've spent my life playing video games, I've never left a legacy for myself---one for people to fondly remember. I don't even have a memory in others' minds where people would go "hey you remember that guy who ________?" I'm just another gamer in the millions. In acknowledging this, though, I think I've come to terms with how little of a life I will live, how I'm not meant to be one of the guys remembered. Weirdly in a way, I would compare myself to an unknown soldier---a soldier who's died without a name, and yet are still honored in death. I will be one of those gamers left to just boost a counter for others to see, and I am contempt with it. I am at peace.
