First of all let me stay by saying I am NOT a new steam player. My ingame name was Lexorn , I have played mortal for 4.5 years and am one of the most recognisable Names in the game after starting many wars , being the leader of FATE and AIM and building the largest player city ever seen called Magna Astu.

My advice is this: DO NOT PLAY MORTAL ONLINE EVER

Mortal online has alway had a charm about it and many of us have played for a long time living on the promise that "things will get fixed" or "it will be ready soon" but unfortunatly none of these things ever materialise. Mortal online as a game had great potential and many of us have done our best to support it over the years by subbing accounts for friends , donating etc etc but again all of this has been taken and nothing given back.

They had/have a policy where if you dontate enough you can name an npc, or get an armour set made or some other rubbish infact some people have donated $1000 and 2 years later have still not seen the results of their donation....

Also they have unbanned several prominant hackers/dupers AFTER the donated which is a really bad way to manage a game.

Mortal online is a game full of empty promises , corruption and lies. Hell they even had/have GM's activly playing in guilds and giving unfair advantages to certain players.

Recently we discovered a bug with the extracting system completly legitimate and nothing but in game mecanics however because of a few high status players we had attached to our guild and the overwhelming corruption of the Starvault GM team they Instabanned over a dozen players, destroyed our keep and destroyed the largest open player city ever built cause not only us to lose everything but also causing over 60 new steam release players who used the city to lose everything and a large number have now quit.


Mortal Online Is a waste of your money and time, they have lost over 50% of their steam release playerbase since it launched here and the reasons for that are:

CORRUPTION
LACK OF VALUE FOR MONEY
BROKEN MECANICS
BIAS
LYING TO THEIR PLAYERBASE

My advice to anyone thinking of playing this game is to avoid it like the plague and spend you money elsewhere and I would also like for STEAM to look inot the way this game is run and consider removing it from their system.

I hope anyone thinking of playing this game heeds my warning
