Incredible game. No Predatory micro-transactions. The paid packs don't give you an in-game advantage over other players and the cosmetics are simply cosmetic. It's a free to play game with ways to get the premium currency daily without ever spending a dime. That makes me really happy.

As for cheating. I'm not at the highest level of gameplay but I've never encountered any cheaters yet. Further on that, The developers are very open with communication about initiatives to prevent cheating and punish only players who cheat while avoiding false positive bans. They even give you your loot back if you die to a cheater.

Learning curve is a little steep. I strongly recommend the wiki + Youtube guides, but man once you get into this game It's an absolute BANGER.

It's like prison architect but survival. The main gameplay loop plays like a dungeon keeper, but has RTS elements. The decision making is real, the adrenaline rushes are real, the graphics are fun, but still tell emotional stories. Mods are absolutely game changing. I've been playing multiplayer with friends and we each made a custom character of ourselves using the EDP Prepare Carefully mod. It's been so much more investing having an icon of ourselves to protect and utilize.

UI is good. Management is good. Tutorial could use some work and some mechanics could be better explained, but overall really a solid 9/10 overall with a 10/10 if you are okay to use outside guides and mods.

Hades with Friends. Very Good. The Speedrun Mechanics really help with pushing to do better and make the game very fun. I'm not normally a player in this genre but I'm loving it.

Guardian Shield block builds are fun. Your friends will say you're playing the game wrong. Block + Counter them.

Developer releases massive content update that is a little rough around the edges and sells it for half off knowing the issues.
Developer proceeds to gather community feedback and fix every major bug within 3 weeks of release.
Does not complain about players. Does not make excuses. Just works hard and gets stuff done.

Hopoo Games is one of the BEST game development studios in the Indie market right now. Hats off to them and their products.

It's good. The general gameplay is fun, albeit a bit slow. The UI needs work and the Skill tree while seemingly complex at first, is really just the same upgrades over and over for most towers with a few fun exceptions.

There are some pretty significant balance issues where some towers are just objectively stronger than others, but the cost mechanics do encourage a diverse play style which is nice.

The UI is really bad. I'm not a huge stickler but the HUD elements resizing with zoom is not a good feature. The lack of a speed up turns the later levels and even the early game into a long slog as you wait for the enemies to reach your towers.

It's a great foundation, but the general skill tree needs a pretty big rework to be considered innovative.
The rougelike mechanics are good, but the card selection is so limited that some runs are incredibly strong and others are just doomed right out of the gate.

The achievements are fun and I can't really hate on it too much for a $15 asking price. Personally, I think that's too high for this but it fills a niche in the market that's not too prevalent right now.

6/10 better to play it than to not pick it up at all. Needs a lot of love for me to consider it "Good" and not just "Okay but still kinda fun"

Very VERY VERY in-depth, which is drastically overwhelming in the beginning, but if you can commit and learn it, this game will let you make literally any vehicle you want, and do some stuff you can't dream of in other games. UI Design and overall presentation could use a bit of polish, but a solid 8/10 as is. Worth the full price, and even better for a sale.

Hearthstones battlegrounds wishes it was this game.

Left for dead 2 + Killing floor 2 + Slay the Spire + Escape from Tarkov. It just works. Very fun.

Reliving my childhood. Track editor has a few quirks and a steepish learning curve but once you get it, man you can do some crazy stuff. Bought the $90 edition and it's still cheaper than buying the tracks IRL and more fun too. Racing my tracks with my friends has been a 10/10 experience.
