Took me 14 hours to complete my first play through.

The game is pretty linear along with not having the best performance but the patch released a few hours after launch definitely made it run much, much better. This game has the best audio and visuals I've ever experienced in a video game. Combat is mid and centered around 1v1 fighting which leaves groups of enemies just bouncing around looking at their watch waiting for a their turn to hit you. People complaining that dodging is hard or the combat is hard to learn simply need to git gud for it is simply a skill issue.

Not too scary besides a lot of jump scares. They crafted unnerving and ominous environments but did not utilize them very well. If they focused on the psychological horror aspect more instead of jump scares/throwing hordes of enemies at you the experience would have been a bit scarier.

In summary the game isn't bad and I feel the cookie cutter journalists and youtubers are being a bit too harsh on it with reviews (they are usually bad at video games so games are always 0/10 if it's hard). Story is predictable but not bad. If you see it on sale pick it up 100% but not a bad buy for full price.
