This is just barely a video game

As such: I continue to not understand why these types of games are as staggeringly popular as they are... Conceptually this is cool and a neat fit for Halo because of The Flood alone but really all you do is walk around and occasionally select an upgrade when prompted, with the game doing all the killing for you 99% of the time (the other percent being "aiming" and a pathetic little whiff of a melee attack that isn't helpful in the slightest amid all the chaos you're constantly surrounded by)

I can only hope it (and every game like it/that inspired it) opens up a lot after a lil' while, cuz' I know I sure wouldn't pay for one of these if not! Sorry but there just isn't anything to it...

Great pixel art and you can definitely see that there's a clear vision for this that they've got in mind... but it's just kinda too simple and not very good atm (I want to like it, though)

It's got potential but I doubt I'd buy the full version if it ain't much different, sorry

I'm a weirdo who actually likes Half-Life: Source for some reason (and shoot: With this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/half-life-source-fixed part of me even kinda prefers it tbh)

This version's always gonna have a special place in my heart purely because of Freeman's Mind no matter how busted it is. Red knuckles & constant crowbar clanging and all.




Plus it gave us Black Mesa so like... Y E A H !

Baaaaasically DLC (that would be as expensive as the main game if it was) but still pretty pog

It's great in some ways but terrible in others (2-3 headshots to down a zombie is waaaaaaaay better than up to 11 if you're really unlucky like in RE2 Remake, Carlos's falcon punch is awesome and never gets old, and faster respawns are great, but why the actual flying frick did they get rid of being able to shove enemies off with a sub-weapon, you have to pay for the classic costumes, the Hunter's insta-kill can go jump off a bridge, and there's no option for the OG soundtrack despite 2 having it and being one of the best parts of that game...)

Overall $10 well spent, would recommend (especially following up a playthrough of #2)
