StS2 not only does things better than the first, it does them in ways that are so clever and interesting, that you find yourself yelling admiration at your screen at 2AM while on your 5th consecutive run. And that's before they've even started integrating community feedback and data into the design and balancing - a process that made the first so phenomenal!
