Cute, cozy, frenetic! For fans of games like Hades but not as intense. I love that every object and every monster you defeat can become a projectile on the screen to create a magnificent 16 bit looking chaos. The fights are fun but never overwhelming, the challenges are credible but not difficult to the point where you'd want to throw away your controller. The mini games are a great homage to a bygone era of games and the story mixes silly with serious. Most importantly, there's a pettable dog in the game and he harfs when he's pet.

Very fast paced, very colorful roguelike. A blend of Hades style action, destructible environment, homages to 16 bit era games, and gorgeous pixel art with a very active community helping with development of the game. It's even more impressive when you factor in this is primarily a two person studio.

This game really helped me in a time in my life where I truly utterly needed it. Would absolutely recommend popping in from time to time when you're in need of a pep talk or when you're feeling generous.

All the people who dislike this game probably still sleep on a twin mattress with no box spring.
