** Original Review: I believe I hopped into the game relatively late given how much attention it's been getting on all the gaming news sites and youtube channels. Let me just say that I regret taking so long to make the purchase. I'm only level 4 and I've only been playing for about 3 hours but this game is honestly amazing. It's a breath of fresh air and everything feels consequential.

Starship Troopers is one of my favorite movies and I've always wanted a game that allowed you to inhabit that universe.. I feel like *THIS* is that game. Props to the dev team.. this is an absolute banger. You can jump in and out and feel like your time meant something. I highly recommend you pick this game up if the trailer interested you at all. Don't wait to dive in.

It's no secret that the recent changes, with regards to PSN account linking, have majorly affected the overall outlook on this game. If you look at the entire picture you can see that the actual game is great (not perfect but still great) but unfortunately bad business practices and the over-emphasis on shareholders is ruining the experience and leaving a bad taste in the mouths of the community. I can't endorse this game anymore unless major course correction takes place.

It looks like the community was able to make their collective voice heard and Sony just announced the the requirement to sign into PSN is not going to move forward. This is a good day for Arrowhead Studios and for the Helldivers 2 community. As I stated before, the actual game is great and it feels good knowing that our fellow divers from countries, that don't have access to PSN, will be able to continue playing with us.

Great game. It's a lot of fun and it gets pretty competitive online. You'll have fun experimenting with the different combinations of weapons and you'll probably be laughing quite a bit. Get it.

Fantastic game. Endless replay-ability and the physics make it absolutely ridiculous/hilarious. Highly recommended if you want to be laughing constantly.
P.s... learn how to climb.

This one really surprised me. I watched multiple twitch streams and yt videos but I stayed on the side lines until very recently. I'm now playing this with my kids just about every day and we're having a blast while getting scared. Great game and I look forward to new updates in the future!

I was super hyped for Street Fighter IV when that released and I have that exact same feeling with Street Fighter VI! It's a fantastic package.. there is so much stuff to do and not enough time to get to it all. The new characters seem well developed and their narratives are fleshed out. I just wish I had time to play them all. Right now I'm dedicated to guile. Anyway, if you liked SF4, I'm confident you'll enjoy this one too. If you had difficulty with execution (performing the moves) during previous games then I think the new 'Modern Control' scheme is exactly what you've been waiting for. Go get it!

This game is absolutely amazing if you have a little bit of patience to learn it. The emergent stories that come up from this fantasy world sandbox are fantastic. I just lost my trade broker because he all of a sudden got a wild hair up his butt to build a statue using metal and bone but the problem was that I didn't have any metal bars left so he went insane and started attacking everybody at the tavern.

The 6 dwarves in the tavern leapt into action and held his arms while they beat him to death with fists, a copper battleaxe, and a mining pick.. it was very very gruesome. His teeth were strewn about all over the tavern floor.

I kickstarted this game a long time ago and then I bounced off of it right away because of the difficulty (and my impatience).

Only recently have I given the game the attention it deserves and HOT DAMN it might be the best game I've ever played. I'm fully hooked. In general, I stick to FPS games and so admittedly this is outside of my wheel house but if you give it a real shot I am sure you won't be disappointed. I can't imagine there are too many fence-sitters at this point but if you're trying to decide whether or not to pick this game up.. just do it. I do, however, recommend that you watch a newbie guide or two, on youtube to 'soften' the difficulty curve just a tad.

And remember.. the point of the game is to make the best of a bad situation. Do not get too attached to any of your people!
