Kickstarted game when it was called umbra. Is clearly not the same game. you can even find old vids of what the game was going to be on there youtube page.

missing so many mechanics that i was hopping for. still have bugged skill tree and poor game mechanics

dont buy. there are so many better games.

As an active player of many ARPG games. and having well over 200+ hours in nearly most of them. I can say Last Epoch is high on my list of first to try for newer player of the genre

Last Epoch takes a blend and ideas from other ARPG games and has a made a wonderful interesting story about Timey-Wimey stuff. were your going to take these portals and travel in time to effect other parts of your games.

Its skill system is one of my favorites as you can take a simple skill and change it to fit your play style or needs.

The class system is closer to original arpg games were you pick a class and get a tree you put points in to. before unlocking one of 3 sub-classes to specials in to

Having being one of the Kick-starter supports to this game. I still recommend it for its price. With MP around coming soon. This game will be lots of fun for years to come and be a High competitor in the ARPG market

Pros
- skill trees offer lots of choices
- can be modded for even more classes and choices
- still getting updates

Cons
- easy to play, hard to master
- end game content hard to understand
- melee/range combant is very autoattack based
