this wouldve been better in Source 2; graphically and performance wise.

killing other peoples ideas with your ideas was a great idea. ripping powerful weapons and wheels off of cars to avoid getting owned is one of the most satisfying things in a long time. the variety is awesome, you will never play the same match twice. its crazy how much freedom they give you to edit your ride. its almost too much because they dont explain alot of the nuances, you just have to find your own weaknesses.. but you catch on pretty fast. i wish there were more 'rounds', it slows down your progress when you have to queue up for a game after the short matches. they give you enough to work with in terms of rewards for playing, but it's somewhat pay to win because of the fact you have to queue so much. great game but could use more modes for people who wanna get grindy.

Broken piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Clunky mechanics makes this game blow and i honestly dont think the developers will get it to a good place anytime soon.

Awesome game. Hats dont ruin the game because you can shoot them off of people.

it's an alright game but it's overly linear. you have zero choice in job progression. battling is a downright mess, most of the time you smash confirm button until enemies are dead, or until difficulty randomly spikes and you have to do things. the characters are cool, Light might be a little too ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Snow gets blamed for everything by everyone. i don't really like Sazh, his fro sucks! The story is alright, i enjoy following it like any other FF game; sick cutscenes as always. Game runs like crap, i hear it doesn't matter how powerful your PC is. my biggest problem with this game is the fact that the Victory Fanfare is replaced with some generic little jingle.. not what you would expect in a FF. that helps make this NOT feel like a real FF (amongst lots of other things) and that's not good IMO. Maybe it's nostalgia, but either way, it loses points with me for it.. If this game were called something else, it would be an alright start to a new series.. but this is part XIII in an already great series, and it just happens to be worst than the 12 that came before it.


If you absolutely NEED an "RPG" id say grab it at a discount.. if you need a real Final Fantasy, look elsewhere. VI (III) & IX are my two favorites of the series BTW, so take my opinion with that in mind.
