Different from PoE1 but still fun.

EDIT - So after more hours and a few patches I can recomend the game more. Difficulty has been lowered globally, but still challenging enough to stay engaging. Loot drop rates seem to have been tweaked and increased. Updates roll out regularly and content and improvements made. Campaign acts length has been tweaked for the better, and new content added with the impression there will be more acts added to campaign. General game progression is at a nice pace and 0.3 league has been the best one yet, and the regular league and boss races from PoE1 happen with relative frequency. Just like PoE 1, all cash shop purchases provide no 'pay-to-win' features besides quality of life improvements like stash tabs and personal stores. I hope, and expect they will, continue to release content and updates completely for free like PoE1. Not having to essentially buy the game multiple times to gain access to expansion content is a MAJOR PLUS.

Community is overall friendly, helpful, and active. Economy is relatively balanced and fair. The addition of player vending / stores is a game changer for trade and the economy.

Overall definitely worth the $30 for fans of ARPGs, and imo beats diablo 4 in pretty much every regard and PoE2 is one of the best ARPGs I have played.

Its mah favoriet gaem.
