Real good. If Hollow knight is peak, this is a great followup to an already well known great game.

However, it's worth noting that you shouldn't buy it if you only like baby games. Seeing complaints about the difficulty and I can agree that it's harder than the first game was from enemies doing double damage, some runbacks, and getting too little money so you actually have to be strategic about buying benches to rest on.

I like difficult games so it's even better for me that it is this way, but complaining and leaving negative reviews over skill issue is just flat out stupid.

I don't like Overwatch 2, I don't play hero shooters or many shooters in general, but I really enjoyed Marvel Rivals, like a real surprise on my gaming behavior.

The game is fun, has characters I care about, it appeals and does listen to its audience rather than alienate or hate it, and the game does feel like there's passion in its development with all the details and just how much they really understand the Marvel universe they're working with. Also, the characters all feel strong so they do fulfill the hero fantasy really damn well.

Now, this review is a negative, how come all I've said thus far has been praise, then? Well it's literally just one thing and let's make sure a good game doesn't continue to suffer and be held back from it: EOMM. (Engagement Optimized Matchmaking)

The game used to work so well for me when it was new, it was fresh, and it still COULD be from all the new content it gets; but knowing there's a system giving me win streaks only to follow up with an equal loss streak isn't fun. It doesn't value my time and it doesn't encourage me to even try and win such matches if they're just systematically made to make me lose. This isn't fun for me or anybody, and it also indirectly increases toxicity because all the other players are just receiving this unfair treatment from matchmaking, like, of course they're going to be pissed on every match. I'm changing this review to positive whenever they decide to rework this matchmaking so matches do feel genuine and aren't rigged. NetEase has been knocking it out of the park and they still could with just this one fix.

Ame-chan is what having Borderline Personality Disorder is like. It hit way too close home at too many times, and this game has more bad endings than good ones, which is a realistic outcome of things for the mentally ill.
Funny and accurate enough, the healthiest playthrough I could find involved going outside often, really put things in perspective huh.

I can't fix her, only she can.

If I was stuck on a deserted island with only Elden Ring, I wouldn't even be mad. This review is just a duty at this point. You don't need me telling you it's good because absolutely everyone has told you so already, and that's because it is.

If you're like me and haven't played it because people told you that Dark Souls is a product of your nightmares in terms of difficulty from how hard it is, that's an overrated lie. The soulslike genre is challenging, but it's perfectly doable and fun with tons of tools and options to also make it easier, if you want. I've played rage games, and Elden Ring is not one of them. (Besides the times I lost my runes to my own stupidity, those piss me off)

Trust me it's one of the best games you'll play and it'll be a refreshing experience compared to all the crappy games that have been released in these recent years.

Elden Ring was my first FromSoftware game and not only did I love the genre, it became one of my favorite games of all time. Miyazaki saying that Elden Ring is not his "ideal fantasy game" only shows his passion as an artist always looking for more, and the next soulslike they cook will be a GOTY 100%.

After beating all bosses in the game I have to leave a review for one of the best challenging games I've played.

I recommend it a lot.

Sekiro is a soulslike/rhythm game that provides you with sword clanking ASMR and some of the most rewarding gameplay that makes you feel like you've mastered a fight once done it, so much that a boss fight that once takes multiple attempts to beat can be done first or second try on a second playthrough, and it still feels good.

So if you're a fan of the soulslike genre like I am..

Pros:

- It has the least bs in any 'hard' game I've played, ever. Meaning that deaths actually feel deserved. What this means, in other words: Hitboxes make sense, you don't die randomly in ways that feel like you had no control over, and the mechanic of being able to revive also means it's *absolutely* your fault if you die twice to the same thing, in the same way.

- The feeling of beating a boss in this game is unparalleled. It very rarely feels like you got lucky or that you barely made it. Why? Because the game punishes you every time you get away from a fight to heal or even breathe, and encourages that your playstyle involves always standing right next to your enemy until you've perfected the kill. You either lose by using up all your healing items, or win by barely even using anything other than your sword.

- It starts out as what seems to be the hardest souls game ever, but once you learn the basics, it can also feel like the easiest at times. You're adapting and getting good. This is a pro on its own that follows the previous one because you're constantly being reminded that you're improving by how a boss fight plays out by the time you win. You won't get this from your parents, so Sekiro can provide a good amount of this positive feeling for you.

- ASMR. Ambience is good, sounds are good, and most importantly, fights often feel cinematic in the good, non irruptive way.

Cons:

- I lied, this is a pro too. What makes Sekiro a solid, amazing game overall is that it has the least cons in any soulslike. Most of them are the same, like the times the camera decides to give up and betray you, and the obligatory gimmicky/obnoxious fights. My point here being that Sekiro has the least annoying elements out of them all.

...and his music was electric.

I enjoy the game a lot, and I could give a semi-decent review here.. but I'm not a good reviewer and you could just look up better reviews.

However, I do have something to say and that is: I just I just can't praise this game's soundtrack enough. The sheer amount of soul that was put into every composition really does evoke intense feelings as you listen through these. The music on this game is honestly such a massive selling point and you should not miss it.

I started playing it thinking it was just another Smash Bros clone, but I gotta say this game holds up well on its own.
I agree that the characters design is forgettable, but the gameplay is nice and responsive enough to make you feel good kicking some asses 1vs1.
Final Note: Axe and Vraxx mains are not allowed to talk to me.
