a nice short platformer, plenty of content for the price

I really want to like Platypus but there quite a few bad design choices that it makes it difficult to recommend. From enemy patterns that are hard to shoot completely for powerups, to mines with random projectile direction, and explosions that can block your view for a fraction of a second thats enough to kill you by something else. Its just frustrating to get through, even on easy.

The flow of faces still going strong, the custom new levels made everyday, the speedruns breathing new life to this game. Buy this, grab a friend and laugh your arses off.

What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said? Classic 2D platforming at its finest. What makes this stand out is its attention to detail to make the experience feel truly authentic. Most other pixel callbacks feel forced, not this though, the important thing for this game is its gameplay and simple but effective story. Buy it, fan of platformers or not, its worth it.

Im hoping an xl update or more dlc will come out soon cause this is fun. 9/10 would party again.
