I've been beta testing this game on & off since PAX 2024, so take that context into account for my positive biases.

Overall I think this game has really good bones, along with a great, engaging, and fun team behind it. It has some rough edges, and may not hold your hand enough if you're a fresh platformer (yet!), but if you're looking to find another platformer with high depth potential, I'd say this is well worth your time. Feel free to diss me in the comments if you feel otherwise.

Good bones, but remember its a solo dev game and it could use help in some areas. If you want to get your platform movement freak on, it's a good short jaunt but don't expect hours of content.

Are you looking to fill the Paper Mario void that exists in your heart? I'd argue this will do. It has it's quirks. I'd say at the price they've nailed the value proposition. I wish it only success.

Weird gripes:
- Combat has some clarity frustrations with if something is "pointy" or not, I could also be blind & dumb (and it is a very fair possibility) but many times it didn't immediately "click" until after I put my hand on the proverbial hot stove burner
- I played this on hard (may be different on other modes) but circle jerking your cheering of teammates is one of the most efficient ways to sustain synergy and healing for long combat periods and its frankly pretty boring
- Some clever mechanics (fear, for example) are one-offs that don't see future play which I think has room for exploration
- There are the odd camera bugs where it snaps to incorrect areas of the screen which can make it seem like you're missing something

For you completionists, don't forget to scan the damned target dummy. Whoops.
