As someone who loves traditional Japanese combat, the game instantly drew me in with its focus on elegance and precision:
- stances that genuinely echo classical kenjutsu
- iai-inspired “standoff” duels built on explosive, decisive strikes
- combat shaped by honor, rhythm, and the clarity of a single perfect cut

It’s not a historical simulator, but a stylish and aesthetically faithful interpretation of samurai combat — exactly the kind you hope to see in a legendary chanbara film.

GoT is an aesthetic, emotional, and culturally sensitive experience that may not be historically perfect, yet remains deeply authentic in the things that matter most: its atmosphere, its spirit, and its genuine respect for Japanese culture.

Rating: 10/10 — one of the most beautiful and heartfelt tributes to Japan ever created in a video game.
