I guess this scratches the hitch, as it is the only good easily available surfing game...

But the "good" review stops here.

The level up system is incredibly boring and long, like actually not fun. Especially if you play on official waves that are quite limited both in numbers and style. You end up doing Skeleton keys session backt to back to play challenges available every 4-5 levels... You don't learn tricks, unlock waves or anything so you grind from level 1 to level 30 the exact same way!

As it is a solo game I used some macros to gain some levels as the grinding was getting way too tediuous ... Averaging 60k score on every 30 second waves, it gave me around 120 xp per minute... You know how long it took to go from level 18 to 20? A whole damn night haha

Since it is "only" 10 euros I can still get behind it, but a lot of content of the original browser games are gone, and high scores feel cheated, and the community and dev, as of september 2024, feel pretty dead.
