You would think that after all these years, that an update would support a steering wheel. Apparently not. Uninstalled.

Great story, even better movie. Sound, visuals, gravitas. Pretty amazing really. And a brave and inventive way of telling a story in a game.

No game play however. What little clicking there is that is not walking around listening to endless exposition blurred audibly by constantly chattering head voices was enough to make me hate the game. Scream at my screen. Wish it was over when it was 1/3 of the way done. Hate the development of this at all because I had no choice in anything that happened. At all. Just a waste.

But if you want a good movie that lasts 7.4 hours ...

The reason I loved snowrunner was the puzzle aspect - figuiring out what to do; and the open world.

You get neither of these here.

The UI is better, has some neat tools. Graphics are super. All things they could have done in snowrunner. Feels like a land-grab in a way.

I you view it as NOT snowrunner-like, then sure - its good for running some missions. But then your done. I won't ever buy it for that. You might.

Def not recm'd for Snowrunner fans.

Learn by failure

If they hadn't made Valhalla I would have enjoyed this more. Also, minus points for no squarebody Ford pickup truck.

It's good. Overpriced for sure. Little quirky sometimes. You'll get the basics of what it takes to grow crops and such. The models are very good, although it is ONLY modern equipment. You won't drive a two stroke Farmall like I did as a kid. Community modding looks strong - looking forward to trying that out. Multiplayer has been steady with no glitching or issues.

AI drivers are trash - or on meth. Nobody stops, or even slows down for stop signs. Somewhat entertaining. Also, make sure you keep an eye on any AI you hire to do a job. They have crashes, get stuck, and other interesting things. I actually hope they don't fix that.

It has a nice relaxed vibe. Nothing is in a hurry. Very relaxing. Settings let you pick your level of detail (easy/hard mode basically).

There is a lot of history on this game, in versions past. This is my first time in this series. For me, its "wait for a sale" level.

Another disaster launch. They learned nothing. Trust violated. Got a refund after trying to get it to start for literally hours.

Well, the first 38 minutes was spent figuring out how to get the game to run. Make sure you read up on that before you buy.

Its a good story. Well acted and well told. Gameplay is solid and consistent. Make sure you like driving around with a keyboard - you will do a lot of that.

I know it is a stealth game, but if you are going to give people the option to fight that is 100% dependent on parry skills, the put in a parry system that actually makes sense. Such frustrating garbage. The rest of the game was fun - would have kept playing except for this point.

Good thing I only paid five bucks for it. Did the story mode campaign in five hours and 24 minutes. Very cinematic. OK corridor shooter I guess for 2017.
