The game only has Ironman mode(you can save scum if you wish though). If you don't like restarting all over after dying then you may not like this game, but that's part of the fun for this game. You can improve your understanding of the game mechanics after each gameplay when you die by learning where you failed.

The campaign is okay, with bad hero missions, terrible defense missions where you spawn units to protect a center tower. The tech tree does allow some variation to campaign playthroughs.

Otherwise the games survival mode and steam workshop is where the fun is at. Workshop has plenty of maps and there are workshop campaigns better than the base game campaign. Everyone should check out 28 years later on the workshop.

Sometimes you have to beat the game by using a guide because it only shows the optimal build when all other ones don't work for the Crown challenge , feelsbadmkay

Broke mouse1 button holding down fire against bullet sponge enemies. Bought a new mouse and it also broke because of holding down mouse1 button. Mouse breaking simulator 2016-2017

Bought the complete pack during the Steam WInter Sale 2017. Worst idea ever to do it at night. Started at 11pm, went to bed at 9am. Destroyed Ghandi with Egyptian blitzkrieg.

Would buy at night again. 12.5/10
