I was really excited for this game because of all the positive reviews from people and even my friends, but turns out this is one of the most boring videogame experiences I've ever had to slog through. It's absolutely aimless, practically nothing to do at all despite everything you can build. No point in building anything really, since there's nowhere to go and nothing to do.

Don't listen to the positive reviews. This is one of the most empty and boring games I've ever tried. Play something else if you want survival fun.

It took me 45 minutes to beat the tutorial for this game and about 40 of those minutes was pointlessly stretched-out exposition dumps. I've never felt so much anxiety just trying to finish a tutorial and get past the hundreds of text boxes.

The five minutes of gameplay weren't even that good. Maybe this gets better but it made such a horrible first impression that I just don't even want to play an actual run. Expect way, WAY too much reading if you want to play this game.

Also I recommend switching the voices to Korean cause the Japanese voices are ridiculously grating. Japanese is fine as a language but this is just so much constant anime-girl sounds..

Find a better Roguelike. There's tons out there.

This game introduced me to a number of horrendous medical anomalies and I feel genuinely enriched for it. There's also lots of poop. 👍

FOLLOW THESE STEPS

>Open big picture mode
>Go to game page
>Go to MANAGE GAME
>Go to CONTROLLER OPTIONS
>Bring up droplist for Steam Input Per Game Setting
>Choose FORCED ON
>Go back and choose CONTROLLER CONFIGURATION
>Browse Configs
>Go to TEMPLATES and choose GAMEPAD
>Back out and you should be done!

You might have to restart Steam but after opening the game things worked just fine!
Unibsoft suuuuucks and make things convoluted like this but after playing many of their games I've figured out their idiosyncrasies. Hope this all helps!

This game sucks and you all suck and I. Suck. TOO!

This game may not have the most engaging gameplay, and some puzzles are a bit tedious, but any way it lacks it more than makes up for with charm, presentation, and one of the best soundtracks I've ever seen come out of a game. Hit me hard in the feels...way more than I expected.

If you let yourself get sucked into the world and characters without trying to compare it to games like Bastion (which I really don't agree with...the only similarity is the isometric angle) then you're in for a truly unique and special experience. It might be a short, somewhat easy experience but I'm grateful I played through the entire thing~

Really solid game. I'd recommend playing Stories first. That game was also pretty great, even if it suffered a bit at the end-game and going for 100% completion. So far this game really steps things up, definitely learning from their past experiences.
I'd say the Harbinger isn't as fun as Reynardo but the other characters really get to shine.


Also look up Ratika online if you think she's cute. You'll find a handful of "adorable" pics.

This game is ridiculously boring..
The fighting isn't fun, flying around to grab orbs is clunky and makes me feel like I'm playing Superman 64, and the micromanaging is beyond tedious. And by god I hope you're ok with only one voice line per character any time you approach one of the many endless throwaway enemies.

The story I'm sure is great, and I was digging what I could get out of it, but the game play bogs the whole thing down to unacceptable levels.. Not sure how so many people are overlooking how annoying the game is to play.

Looks great, plays like crap. Buy it if you just want the flashiness I guess.

This game was a lot of fun but the end boss is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and kind of soured the whole experience. I was having fun until I got that far and just had to stop playing.

It's not even like the boss is hard or something like a Cuphead boss. It's basically just quick time events but with no context on what you're supposed to do and how.
