The last update has a EULA roofie, do not accept

I dislike the genshin-ification of the gacha, it is the worst part of the game
The previous game let you max out characters with only using renewable crafting resources, this one took to much from genshin with it's dupe system, weapon rolls, and reliance on tickets/lootbox system for obtaining weapons and characters

Progress is too time gated, requiring you to log in every day for months to complete daily quests, and collecting tier based resources and crafting system that requires daily return or your progress stagnates

This truly is the Armored to the Core within VI Fires of Rubicon


Works great on steam deck, you need a magnifying glass for anything farther than mid range

This is a physics based game is filled with bugs.
But not the "physics bugs" like prop flying or prop pushing

Full on save bugs, game saves being erased because you decompressed and opened a door at the same time.
UI full on going NAN and blinding your screen
Even Saving and Quitting the game is bugged; the game hangs on exit or even crashes other applications
I died ingame and it crashed Discord, Chrome and what ever else I had open.

This is very far from launch ready, looking into their discord and roadmap. there ambition means nothing if the basics aren't even working fine

I'm going to come back at 80 hours to update this review and give a more in depth record of my experience

A Game to Surpass Metal Gear
You play this ninja, but not any kind of ninja: you play as a Cyborg ninja. You get this cool sword that goes SWING SWOOSH SHYOON while you SWISH SWOOSH SHYOON other cyborgs. The boss battles are better than any Metal Gear before: you fight METAL GEAR RAY ROMANO, a cool robot dog with a chainsaw, Ms Doc Oct but french, The Bald Guy from the good ol' days before, The Magnet Ninja with the 5 minute dialog about MEMES the DNA of the bowl, The Colgate Samurai- Jetsream Samuel, and Finally the coolest Senator ever and his Metal gear ant thing idk- I only cared about the Senate. AND THE THE BOSS FIGHT MUSIC WAS COOLER than the other side of the pillow. This game is DMC but you can actually talk with your friends about it without them saying "yeah sure whatever loser, get lost". I made friends off this game and it changed my life.
