Hmmm .... I surely remember that my name is Henry and I live in 1403 Bohemia, but everyone for some reason says Im just playing some sort of a "video game" .... what does "video game" even mean?

An actual disgrace of my beloved franchise.
This "XCOM" is nothing, but a blatant asset flip and a cashgrab. It looks, feels and plays horribly. I thought about writing an actual review, but considering no one is buying this game, there is no point.

I only want to warn any XCOM enjoyer, who misses XCOM, not to buy this piece of s***. I advise you just replay the old games on the hardest difficulty. It will be much more fun, than grinding Chimera Squad.

Quite an underwhelming experience
The game surely looks good and has interesting mechanics at first. However, when you get to mid game it loses steam not fast, but instantly.
The problem with Rebel cops is that gameplay is very repetitive and becomes boring after the 3rd mission (which is the biggest and hardest in the game and takes 2+ hours to complete btw). That is because after this 3rd mission, you have already seen and mastered everything this game has to offer. There is no new mechanics, challenges, or even enemies (an armored dude doesn't count) waiting for you further in the campaign. There are just 7 more repetitive missions, which differ only in the map setting, nothing else.
If you want to try this game, I suggest you don't waste your time after the 3rd mission and just quit it before it gets annoying.
