For me S;G is peak, but I can understand people who didn't like it - sometimes it has very degenerative weeaboo ♥♥♥♥, some really sus scenes and protag, that can be very irritating if you ain't aware of "chunnibyo" character archetype.
But opposite of that - some of closest to real time travel theories (even tho not without elements that wouldn't work irl), very memorable characters, some of best OST in videogames history, and it's just genuely interesting story as a whole.
Slow pacing can definitely be a con, but I swallow it in same way as filler scenes in Breaking Bad - some might think it's "boring", but it gives character development.
As for fact I have 0 hours on game on Steam - I had my first walkthrough on PSVita.
Good day to ya, random guy on Steam!
That said, I've also found this game and especially Okarin's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ very stupid and frustrating for many reasons, so I can't fault you for agreeing with me.
