Be honest, did you play Diablo III for the story?

Offcourse not. Though, it did help the experience a bit.
Now picture that end-game, build specific, dungeon clearing exprience you do it for. BUT WITH GUNS!
Weird guns, rocket launchers that should black holes and meteors. Shotgun AR's that spray out buckshot at the rate of an Uzi. Sniper rifles that spawn little Thunderstorms instead of bullets. And add all that to characters that allow for many varied builds that can absolutely wreck hordes. Just like Diablo.

Now leave out the story because its ass anyways, and then you have a fun experience. Also, bring friends.
PS: The endgame of this game is somewhat challenging if you don't look up how to exploit this game. So you can keep going for a while..

Allright, so picture this: You go out there and want to wack monsters. And you can! But you have to wack them in style, so the game gives you 14 different weapons to chose from. You chose the fancy weapon you want, and you go out and wack a big yellow Lizard. You wack it good, you wack it hard and you wack it to death. Then you skin the wacked reptile and make some armor out of his skin. Then you go out and wack some more.
Long story short, go wack that angry lizard for us please and we will give you a bigger sword to wack him with.
WACK!

Imagine this:
Some little Voxel dudes have ambitions. And they are looking at you to guide them.
The pressure is real, they want you form a village. Can you deliver? You don't think you can. But they are too cute to deny.
So what now? I don't know, give them something to do I guess. Y'all can be farmers and carpenters. Go little ones, be something. And they just do, ain't that nice. No you need a house for them. So ask them to build a house, propose a design you did not make. (because the stuff in the workshop is nothing to scoff at) And guess what, they will. And it's cute.

50 hours later, you have succesfully elected multiple villages from multiple expeditions. You took your people to lands that they did know and call them home. Congratz, you filthy colonizer.

A fantastic game that is more then a good-looking-brake-it-all game.

Besiege is a game where your goal may seem simple, but it not has to be.
You get the tools and ways to create a assault machine in a medieval based screenplay. You can make a basic wooden cart with a cannon on top or a well out thought flying machine that drops bombs while still staying in balance.
The possibilities are almost endless and your idea's will be tested by the variation of different levels the producers have thought out. You will have to think when you build something, is it sturdy enough or is it to heavy. And most of all: Will it get the job done?
The game is made in a way that machines can be variated with immensely. Offering a editor wich can change controls. Set different controls to special blocks or just one block and has a few other tools wich help you keep track of your build. Like a weight-point, it shows you the center point of your build. So you can see if its in balance. This can be really helpful when building flying machines.

The only limit is the creativity of the player. Will you make something extravagant or a simple battering ram. Will it be a trebuchet or just one cannon? Will you make on ground combat knife swinging machine? Or do you prefer a more highly case of event by building a plane?
This game is a tip for people who like to use their creations for something fun. This game is a very good tip for people who want to think about what they are going to create! And that is why its challenging for everybody.
