So a little about me and my gaming past. Well the first game I remember playing was probably Pacman on the most ancient computer. That or The Hobbit on the Commadore 64.

Next was probably Yoda Stories, I absolutely *loved* that game, from there I really enjoy stuff like Dungeon Keeper and Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Then came my original Playstation (which still survives, unlike the more recent PS2), which brought a whole new range of games into the mix - particular mentions include Final Fantasy 8 & 9, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot. All the epic retro games that have become lesser now.

I played the online game Guild Wars for a fair amount of time under the name Cloud Xan (and other Cloud ... characters, the Xan was to form part of a partnership with two of my best friends at the time). I did get into it in a big way; even PvP (and espcially GvG). I ended up playing flag runner and the position suited me better than most. The mixture of offense and defese was an interesting playstyle.

More recently I've started gaming more again - although I have to admit a lot of modern games leave me a bit disappointed; Dragon Age was a really disappointment with bad storyline and worse gameplay. Then again I'm biased because I hate click to move RPGs.

Lately I'm getting back into shooters - Mass Effect and Left4Dead being the spark that's ignited my interest. I particulary enjoy playing infected in L4D(2) as it's the non-stressful style of gameplay I like. Don't get me wrong, playing the Survivors is equally enjoyable, but I don't like having to be tense for every single moment of a game.
