I played this game for 9 years on and off. In that time i only dabbled in air arcade. I was a dumb.

Now I play Ground Real, (which can fly your custom planes). And now, i'm less dumb, still pretty dumb though.

I have skill issues
likes long walks at the D point

Great game but has the potential to be so much more.
- Unique characters unlock naturally while playing at random. Once unlocked they are also then available at campaign start.
- Great story and event encounters both in mission, and after.

What could be better.
- AMBUSH-
Ambush is a nice feature but it feels under utilized currently. As it stands now ambush removes 1 activation point from the enemy team for turn 1. Which in the grand scheme is no big deal. The kicker is, there is no penalty if you DONT use ambush. The enemy simply has all their activation points for turn 1 just like they will with every other turn. This means that if you are spotted by the enemy its just a normal fight so using camo or flares really dont do much but occupy bag space.

How could this be improved?
If spotted by the enemy without camo activated, the enemy should get first activation each turn during the fight. They spotted you, they should get first hit. This would encourage the use of flare and camo more as it would be important to the fight to not be spotted and to get the first hit. It would also help ambush to stand up to the name.

-ENEMY MEDICS-
I've yet to see an enemy medic actually heal somebody. I've only ever seen them throw out buffs but never heal. Even the engineer heals the heavy weapons but enemy medics never heal troops. Adding the ability for enemy medics to heal would be great to add additional challenge.

-EXTREME/EXTREME MODE-
Really isnt that extreme. I'm currently running a zero death attempt and on day 30+ its looking pretty easy. That being said i believe if the above issue of medics not healing is resolved then extreme would become more challenging naturally.

-SUPPLIES-
Picking up supplies during a mission is a waste of bag space. Since their stack size is so small they cost more supplies to keep in bag than they are worth. Increasing the supplies stack size to 250 or even 500 would fix this issue. Examples below:

-Supplies-
Stack - 50
Value - 50

-Short Ammo-
Stack - 100
Value - 200

-Long Ammo-
Stack - 50
Value - 150

Good game that promotes creativity via a sledge hammer!

My only real issue is the bathroom customization, or lack there of. Unfortunately theres no way to move the location of the bathroom or where the pipes hook up to. This leaves planing around bathrooms designed for hallway entrances and limits your ability to create a master bedroom with a bathroom attached.

What this game is truly lacking is a pure sandbox mode where you design a home from the ground up. This is even more evident when attempting to do additions as you simply cant modify outside of the preset house structure.
