I recommend this game for the Single-player, PVE, and to fight your friends.

The game itself is an amazing revival for one of my childhood games, beautiful aesthetic and graphics, fun combat, alternate story lines to explore, just overall a fantastic game.

I however do not recommend it for public multiplayer matches, especially ranked.
You'll only fight a handful of different characters for most of your time online because of how broken they feel. If you do get a match VS someone not abusing the cheaper characters or moves, you'll have a lot of fun.

I understand Tenkaichi games are not supposed to be balanced, as that's always been the nature of the series, but some of these characters are just so far above the other strong characters it feels wrong and unfun to fight them, likely because players are capable of maximizing the strength of these busted characters/moves far more than the Devs likely predicted.

For the sake of multiplayer longevity, the top 3 or so characters (SS4 Gogeta, SSJ Super Vegito, MUI Goku, etc.) need to be adjusted/nerfed. (and maybe boost some of the bottom tier characters for even more variety online)

I have a few general ideas that won't nerf them so hard they'd be weak by any means.

1. Reduce their stats
From a canon balancing sense to keep with the games nature, SS4 Gogeta should not be above Broly, Whis, and Beerus in most, if not all, stats.
From an agame balance perspective, most characters with high stats or strong abilities should have a draw back. Examples: Broly hits hard but is big and slow, and Whis has low damage compared to most other high DP characters but has an auto-dodge feature.

But then you have characters like SS4 Gogeta. He has some of the highest stats in the game across the board, crazy fast, hits as hard as broly, and has an instant Sparking Mode skill while having no direct drawbacks. Vegito, who also has very high stats across the board and Afterimage Strike which is OP by itself, again with no drawbacks. MUI Goku has the same high stats, a slightly worse than Whis' auto-dodge, and unblockable moves, with no substantial flaws.

2. Adjust/Remove Afterimage Strike - reduce its duration, cap at X amount of dodges, or increase skill bar cost.
You could also leave it as is, but replace it with something else on characters that are already high tier (DP 7+ or 8+). Characters like SSJ Super Vegito should not have that strong of a skill on top of his stats and moves, it makes him an extremely overwhelming character to fight against.

2.5 Give the same treatment to instant Sparking Mode skills - increased skill bar cost, replace it on stronger characters, etc.

Bonus - this isn't as important: Remove or adjust the unblockable supers/ultimates of some characters. MUI Goku teleporting to me and being unblockable is a crazy combo on an already very strong character.

If these changes are made this game could be 10/10 and have a much better multiplayer experience.
