You have to have a very high IQ to understand evelynn. Her playstyle is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of modern Rocket League most of her touches will go over a typical fan’s head. There's also evelynn’s versatile box to box outlook, which is deftly woven into her dribble plays - her personal philosophy draws heavily from SquishyMuffinz's play, for instance. The non-plastic fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these plays. As a consequence people who dislike evelynn truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the fluidity in evelynn's existential move "dribble and flick" which itself is a cryptic reference to SARPBC. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as evelynn’s genius unfolds itself on their monitors.
