everything about this game is done superbly, its even better than when it first came out, the updates and fixes the devs make are ingenious, CD projekt red is by far one of the best developers this side of the 21st century.

the gameplay is crisp and immersive, the story is enchanting and far from boring.
i played this at 30 frames with my trash pc and still enjoyed every minute of it.

quests upon quests upon quests.

the dlc is worth the price, they are almost full games within themselves, hearts of stone has an amazing story, and blood and wine is an unforgettable experience through the lands of touissant*
this game is worth every penny, id pay full price for this and all the dlcs any day.


in summary, this is one of the best games to come out ever, and is by far the greatest rpg ever made, this game is up there with the likes of Red Dead Redemption, and more massive than skyrim. simply put, not playing this game would be missing out on the gaming experience of a life time.

-i hate to say it, but strongholds.

i love the game, but after putting ten hours on it, it starts to feel like 20, you do so much in such a small amount of time, that it feels overwhelming, and drawn out. you spend most the game customizing your car, and its almost impossible to move on if you don't spend the first 5 hours grinding for scrap.
strongholds are the same thing every time, collect these things over and over and over. i only ever finished one stronghold and then id just fast travel back to use it so i didnt have to finish the other ones. it has some tedious moments, and the driving starts off pretty rough. but overall the game is fun, well made, and looks like it could give someone about 30 hours of enjoyment. 7/10

there is zero expostion, and zero direction, where do i go? what do i do? I WOULDNT KNOW!!!

the characters you meet only have these slideshows to show you for dialog that dont explain much.

the controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and if you run out of medkits in combat gg your ass is grass, over and over and over again.

im all for difficult games but this is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

the graphics are stunning the music is dreamy, thats the only plus.

the interface is confusing the upgrades are confusing the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing.


I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS GAME MIGHT I ADD AGAIN.

TL:DR look for a better open world rpg, this one isn't worth the scratch.



i have to edit this review, with everything bethesda has done with this game, and with dlcs, i cannot recommend this game to anyone. it is not a fallout game, its a free roam action shooter, with a little bit of story. the dlc is hit and miss, mostly miss, workshop dlcs no one wanted, and 2 story dlcs that were lack luster at best. the new one coming out looks promising, but so did far harbor. bad optimization, poor textures, and a boring overworld. the community and it seems the devs for this rely on mod makers making the game playable and downright enjoyable, which shouldnt be the case.

i had my fun playing the game, but the vivid hallucination of a well made and good fallout game, soon stopped, and a grey, uninteresting, empty world took its place. i got my hours out of it, but i won't be adding anymore to it.

you are better off spending your money on a game like the witcher 3, or even purchasing fallout new vegas if you want an open world rpg, though the graphics are dated, the gameplay is crisp.
