1. Wash Your Hands First
Before touching any sensitive area, clean your hands to avoid introducing bacteria or dirt.
2. Gentle Touch
Use the pads of your fingers—not your nails—to gently rub or press the area. Avoid aggressive scratching.
3. Use Fabric as a Barrier (if in public)
If you're in public and need relief, discreetly adjust or apply gentle pressure through your pants using the palm of your hand.
4. Check for the Cause
If it’s a persistent itch, it might be due to:
Sweat and moisture buildup
Allergic reaction (e.g., soap, detergent)
Fungal infections (like jock itch)
Dry skin or irritation from shaving
5. Apply Relief (if needed)
At home, you can:
Rinse the area with cool water and pat dry
Use an anti-itch cream (like hydrocortisone or antifungal if needed)
Keep the area dry and well-ventilated
