The game is great. But most of the time there are too many tanks at one time or tanks spawn too slowly for stuff to really get moving on some maps. Many maps feel like a stale mate on conquest and while it is fun. Its just frustrating most of the time when most of the game is either curb stomping the other team or getting stomped because you have all 4-5 vehicles spawned in and spawnkilling your teams vehicles. so the game cant progress at all.

Love the game, just wish it was cross platform. Ill wish for it as I watcha joja burn.

Great game with an interesting story. Though i personally really loved the game mechanics the most. It was so fun playing. I wish the game had a multiplayer capacity in some way. I could see it topping charts! I also really loved the soundtrack, and I have purchased the vinyl, cant wait to get it!

Update: The vinyl has arrived and the art is amazing. I love to hear the soundtrack on good speakers and from the vinyl. Amazing Job

One of the better paradox games in my mind

Man I loved helldivers 2, was a really good Sony game that wasn't exclusive to Playstation. But I guess I got my hopes up.

I hope the automatons and terminids take good care of super earth (they probably wont)

Its a pain in the ass, and is very grindy, but if you have endless amounts of time, wealth and sanity. It can be fun.

The game itself, like the originals, is fine. However, many of the bugs from the originals are still there. Like the AI driving the LAATS into the ground on Geonosis on BF1.

The multiplayer, in both games, is absolutely horrid. Aiming is terrible, and almost every time, I've gotten stuck on 1 second for spawning and just stayed there. So after a while i had to either wait for the game to maybe release me from its clutches, or give in and rejoin.

While the split screen is cool, and I'm glad they added it to PC. It doesn't seem to work at all not registering a second controller input. The price tag alone isn't worth that being one of the only features they added and it not even working. Which does nothing for the wider online community still. Which I guess isn't a huge deal since its for local only, but its kind of annoying when playing this from a PC and seeing they basically just merged the console editions with the PC edition and not much else.

The galactic conquest seems ok in both 1 and 2. However I've seen that you cant buy new ships all the time in bf2. The characters still glitch out and move really fast in the unit buying screen. And the button to buy support stuff doesn't work, instead you have to double click on what your buying.

The textures are fine, although they don't seem to be much better than the originals. in terms of what the originals could muster. Along, with the fact that the game isn't great rn and the extra maps and heroes don't warrant the $35.01 price tag.

Overall,
Price: Too High
Game-play: Almost unchanged yet somehow worse
Graphics: Up-scaled but is overall mediocre.
Audio: Mostly the same but some of the map loading sounds are now tone deaf which idek how they did that
Split-screen: wouldn't even know, the game doesn't recognize more than one controller input.
Galactic conquest: Good but wish they did anything to make it multiplayer, and idk if it works in splitscreen local.
Skirmish: its basically the exact same as the originals aside from the few new maps/heroes/gamemodes.
Multiplayer: Absolute trash. Very few servers, though more than the 3 as of now.
Aspyr logo: Amazing 10/10 would skip past again.

Basically, just pay the 20 dollars and get both of the originals seperatly, unless this collection manages to "improve" (unlikely)

Its a very silly game, especially with the graphics and animations. Although it feels unfinished, the game does seem like it has a lot of potential to be one of the top charters.

Edit: game devs have abandoned game, hasn't had an update in years

Multiplayer does still work but you need to disable IPv6 in order for it to function.
