A poor game all round.

Most of the campaign features have been stripped out to the point where there is almost nothing to do. Some features have been added, but they either add nothing of substance or are just plain broken for the AI.

Battles are the same as Attila or Rome 2. Actually, they are worse since the combat mechanics have also been simplified and there is very little variation in units. There's also very little variation between factions too, they all have near identical unit rosters and no individuality. Some unique faciton mechanics have been added, but they are fairly weak and can be ignored.

Honestly this is a flop, Rome 2 and Attila are better, go play those.

A fun game. Graphics are good, combat is good, definitely something you'll enjoy for a weekend.

One word of warning, it is pretty short. You should get the campaign done in 6 or 7 hours so for that reason I'd pick it up on sale.
