The visuals are very redundant and tacky and really the whole game is just building up to one inevitable jump scare that might happen even when you do everything right.

Honestly I feel like I wasted a dollar on this game, the atmosphere is horrible and I find it really hard to respect games that claim to fit into the "horror" genre when the only horror aspect is just the one same typical mediocre jumpscare, that is a face coming up into the screen.

because you know, it takes real balls of steel to bury your game with dlc, which we were all fine with, and then outright completely spit in our faces by implementing microtransactions, something you said we'd never actually see in payday 2.
