I'll admit, at first look I wasn't exactly taken in by the graphics and the whole "minecraft" look but on further inspection, this game got 95%+ positive ratings for a good reason.

It's one of those games where you get lost doing absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ie: burning, destroying, demolishing everything etc. The story line is decent too, and as far as how levels go, they make it simple and easy enough in that you have to accomplish everything in 60 seconds after "planning" your heist.

I believe 15.99 is also the lowest this game has gone for so that's definitely where I would buy it at.

An amazingly simple yet, re-playable rogue-lite that boasts a lot of similarity to borderlands loot drop and build mechanics. You'll find yourself constantly tweaking and trying out different runs with different approaches and while I've never actually played this with anyone, it's definitely a game I can recommend if you just wanna play on your own. I will say that some classes are much better than others, at least, in my opinion. But maybe that's cuz i suck at the other classes. Anywho, give it a shot when it's 25% off, there's a reason this game almost has Steam's coveted 95% rating, this game is truly smooth and easy to play whenever, give it a go!

4 years later. They keep going and never abandoned ship. Instead, this game has become everything they promised and more. If you're still on the fence about this game, at this point, just pick it up when it goes on sale (usually 50% off) and you'll know why this game went from overwhelmingly negative rating back in '16, to 65% at the end of '20. If only all companies could follow their example.

Another 3 years later and the game keeps getting better. Hopefully Bethesda will do the same for Starfield. (not holding my breath)

Having Played the first Risk of Rain and finding the difficulty of playing with friends before and going to this new 3D version was very unexpected. In a fantastic way. Dedicated servers to host and find and play with randos has been a godsend. Not to mention, going from a 2D side scroller to full 3D is insane, nobody thought it would pay off but here it is, one of the best early release games that felt more complete than most AAA titles from huge gaming companies. Hopoo Games really outdid themselves and I really can't wait to give them more of my money in the future!

It's like Hotline Miami but in space with a pause feature.

My mum said I couldn't have pets because I don't know how to take care of them. Started the game up and managed to kill my virtual snail.
