Counter-Strike has come a long way since it's initial inception in 2012. The game initially buggy and plagued with cheaters soon enjoyed the introduction of Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC). Since then, the number of cheaters have somewhat been controlled, and with the introduction of better graphics and sub-tick servers, the gameplay has been more immersive and competitive than ever. I revere the tactical aspects of the game in that it emphasizes teamwork and communication as a means to victory. Additionally, the game serves as a platform for the development of life skills such as leadership which adds layers to the nuances of the game as well as the complexities in real life.
