In the end you have not just become this world's equivalent of the doomslayer, but a god in your own right, only to do it all again under even more difficult circumstances. if you've ever played starbound, then you'll probably like Terraria. it is a game in which the world recognizes the fact that you are crawling your way up to demigodhood and in response sets loose ancient spirits that have been sealed away for ages just because you managed to make your way down to hell. The bad guys see you for the threat you are so rather than using their mechanical constructs to revive their dead god, they send them to you, not just to delay you, but to awaken the beast within the jungle and direct your attention away from their schemes. And it would've worked too. On anyone else. But not you, you are a force of nature in your own right, wielding power and lacking enough forethought to the consequences of your actions to surpass the average russian, to rival the florida man, and even surpass him and the doomslayer too.
