I am over the moon that this game is back. It's exactly what I was hoping for, and even more. The voice acting was both an aesthetic improvement and a huge relief to help hear names pronounced. The additional bells+whistles are a welcome addition and improve the experience (some make it harder, but they're by choice!)

Overall, this is how a remake should be done!

It's like Ghost Hunters the video game -
Except all the ghosts are real.

You'll still scare yourself by accident a lot, though.

It's a monster catcher with a fun time attitude!

Idk. I just like it. If Palworld was "Ark but with Pokemon", then this is "The Pokemon game we didn't get, last-ish year"

Favorite parts:
1. the running around at the end of the game is actually pretty good, for still being chores. There's just enough scripted bits being stuck in there.
2. The story itself was digestible for teens, I'd say. Pretty good, with little hints of something intended to be deeper.
3. Their 'shinies' are nifty. It's nice that they're simultaneously easier to come by, yet still difficult enough to get the 'particular' one you might want/need. Rad that they have a functional change, too, without it being a min-max mechanic.

It's just kinda Spelunky, but with RPG Concepts, instead of being a platformer.

Played the game for 12 hours, got decently far.
Then my save file corrupted.

Turns out, they just made Dark Souls but with robots.

I already own Dark Souls, so I don't need this game.
