Loadout is a fast-paced F2P 3PS where you design your own weapons / loadout. $IRL only buys cosmetics so you can't pay-to-win. Unlock new weapon mods in your tech tree and level them up, etc Great fun!

Gametypes in both PvP and PvBots (co-op) are:

* Blitz (random KOTH cap point)
* Death Snatch (DM with those killed dropping crystals that need to be collected to confirm kill)
* Domination (3 x set KOTH points simultaneously)
* Jackhammer (CTF with "flag" being a melee weapon you can kill with to multiply the cap value)
* Extraction (1 member of each team is randomly selected as the collecter who picks up crystals and drops them in set collection points, while team defends him or attacks other team's collecter)

Equipment you can unlock includes grenades (explosive, incendiary or tesla), disguise (a bit like TF2 spy, but limited like their cloak is), health/ammo pack drop, trapped health/ammo pack, turret (TF2 engi), jump boots (TF2 scout double jumping), personal shield, and even curved shield wall

Probably the best part of the game are the various weapons including rifle, pulse, beam or rocket, with so many different types of mods to make short-range instakiller, great mid-ranged variations, sniper, pyro, area-of-effect, sticky mines, even walking bombs, etc, etc So many different possibilities!

The bots (computer-controlled fighters just like the players, not actual robots like in TF2's MvM) can be challenging for low-level players, but with good tactics / teammates, and perseverance you can find ways to beat them.

PvP community lost their Australian servers, unfortunately, but Asia isn't too far away. Random matches might include high level players that you will get pummelled by, or complete noobs who will make it easy for you to advance in XP and Blutes ($). Teams are randomised each round (unless you form a party with friends), so you shoulndn't get pummelled every round if you keep at it. They don't have difficulty levels (except the ranked exhibition matches), but a little perseverance will have you unlocking / levelling up your weapons and equipment and doing well in no time.

If the gore / profanity / nudity is too much for you, you can just turn off those settings (as I did for the latter two). Great game, I highly recommend it, and hope to have you in my party soon!
