Developers constantly listen to the community and add features that are requested on a regular basis.
A passionate game studio produced this therefore it is an obligation to review it.

PROS-
The game has SOUL, every character feels different, alive and charming in their own way. They have cutscenes (an actual truck load) to show their personality and quirks which really add to the overall feel of the game.
Simple controls allow anyone to play this game, its really not difficult at all.
The ammount of minigames, sidequests and other miscellaneous activities is incredible. Diversity is one of the core strenghths of this game. Almost all the story missions have a quirk to them that adds to the depth of the story.
Graphics are a mixture of pixel art and 3d models that blend together quite well, especially in the deeper parts of the ocean.

CONS-
Im not gonna act like this game is perfection itself, nothing is.
Intense button mashing (adressed in a update in august)
Some bossfights dont really work well especially the shrimp boss during one of the first stormy nights
The jump in rank in the restaurant management part of the game is poorly paced when you achieve enough points to rank from gold to platinum, the money you lose in operation costs gets quadrupled to a whopping 2000 gold per night, some players might struggle with that but if you dont panic its completely winnable, trust me even I managed it and im not that bright

Overall I recommend this game to anyone with time to sink into this charming little diving game.

You start with funny dart monkey.

You end by reading a 3 200 word wikipedia article on how to summon the sun-eating god-cataclysm monkey.
Then you ♥♥♥♥ it up and have to do it all over again, it gets pretty wild.

Unfortuantely as much as I love this game, LOVE IT! I cannot reccomend it.
The PC version of this game crashes a lot. Of the 19 hours ive played so far it has crashed about 37 times (mostly whenever I attempted to restart one of the challenges to get bonus points) and I simply cant take it anymore.
To keep restarting the game because of some stupid bug that is also present in the sequel to this game (and is fixed... yet this one is not?) gives me serious brain damage so I cant recommend this product.

FYI: My rig is more than enough to handle any modern game on ultra settings, this is simply a very poor port to pc.

Hmmm man I sure wonder why game sales started spiking around 2019, truly a mystery.

Incredibly moddable, incredibly good.
The ammount of effort put into this game puts most AAA studios to SHAME. I can only respect the dedication put forth by the devs continuing their relentless assault of updates upon the poor community.
It gets confusing at times but once you get into it it all clicks into place like a perfectly fitted puzzle.

Also fair warning: you will die all the time. Its part of the game, you cant survive forever, the game is designed like that on purpose.

Im way too stupid to play this game on my own, I need my smart friends to tell me what cards to take.
If youre smart enough for this game you will have fun.
If youre like me good f*cking luck friend.

A decent game for when you need to turn off your brain. Its excellent to quench bloodlust.

Pros
- Guns are responsive and feel different
- Kills are satisfying, feel nice and meaty when the head flies off the body.
- Enemy variants and ammo variants feel nice
Thats about where the pros end because as much as the game is fun it has its "quirks"

Cons
- Although stealth is very much promoted in this game, its practically non-existent, the moment you shoot a non silenced weapon, the AI in range INSTANTLY lock onto your current position and gun you down (if youre in the open). This breaks the immersion and sandbox feel as youre practically forced into slotting silenced weapons if you want to have the stealth feel
- The ragdolls can break and uh... fling across the map straight into an enemies field of view which naturally breaks the game (only happens with explosive ammo in my experience)
- Some guns are just better than others, if your playstyle is upgrade oriented rather than "use what you like" then youre locked into a single sniper
- Assault rifles are hot garbage. Do not even think about it.
-Sniper? what sniper. Just use the silenced pistol and you can clear the whole game 10x faster! :D

TLDR:
Good bit of fun, a bit janky in some parts but the levels are BIG and OPEN, the kills are MEATY and GOOD so it gets a pass.

As much as I love the relaxed farming/crafting genre I cannot recommend this game in this state.
It feels like the developer put a lot of passion into it but its simply not enough to be a good game for its price, when the competition is well, incredibly more unique.

The game loop is simple, you wake up, run a circle around your house, the town, the swamp house, and the cave where you gather everything you can and then return to your plot to plant the seeds you gathered and make potions to sell to your customers. The game lacks a map, a comprehensive progression system, and anything that would make it feel more alive. I can imagine there might be more waiting in this game that I have not yet discovered but in the hour I played it, the game did not capture my attention and didnt make me want to play more.
Might be a good game to play once or twice a month when you want to just not think about anything but at its full price I cannot recommend it.

Faithful to the original, its the same bouncy fun all over again but it does have some stranger design choices.
Overall still recommend to play, but would wait for more updates so the game feels more complete.

Pros
-Different slimes
-Some of the old slimes return
-MASSIVE ranch this time round
-Lab is unlocked from the beginning
-The looks are very much an upgrade from the original

Cons
-Tarr spawns are chaotic and they tend to appear out of nowhere, I personally disabled them cause of the annoyance (which sucks because they are the only threat in the game)
-Slimes seem to starve VERY fast so unless you have a full farm setup you are going to struggle with 5+ largos per pen
-The lab has an overhaul, materials are no longer gained from drills or autoharvesters, now they are gained directly by the player, which is GOOD, however... the upgrades cost hundreds of these materials which means you spend less time slime farming and more time material farming.
-EARLY ACCESS the game is unfinished and definetly feels unfinished, you can finish collecting everything in about 10 hours (as of 10. june 2023)

Keep updating devs, high hopes high hopes.
