Faithful to the original, its the same bouncy fun all over again but it does have some stranger design choices.
Overall still recommend to play, but would wait for more updates so the game feels more complete.

Pros
-Different slimes
-Some of the old slimes return
-MASSIVE ranch this time round
-Lab is unlocked from the beginning
-The looks are very much an upgrade from the original

Cons
-Tarr spawns are chaotic and they tend to appear out of nowhere, I personally disabled them cause of the annoyance (which sucks because they are the only threat in the game)
-Slimes seem to starve VERY fast so unless you have a full farm setup you are going to struggle with 5+ largos per pen
-The lab has an overhaul, materials are no longer gained from drills or autoharvesters, now they are gained directly by the player, which is GOOD, however... the upgrades cost hundreds of these materials which means you spend less time slime farming and more time material farming.
-EARLY ACCESS the game is unfinished and definetly feels unfinished, you can finish collecting everything in about 10 hours (as of 10. june 2023)

Keep updating devs, high hopes high hopes.

Extreme PVPVE Pirate gaming.
You WILL sink with 3 hours of looting on board.
You WILL be shot on sight by randoms.
You WILL not enjoy PVP for the first 20 hours.
However, you WILL inevitably enjoy the game. Why?

Cause its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfying once you get the hang of it, the loot pool is pretty decent, and the grind is designed to last for YEARS.

One of the best rogue-likes on the planet and its 3d which is very rare for this type.
Sometimes its very hard, sometimes its very easy but its always ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.
Also fully moddable, including modded multiplayer!

What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece of a videogame.
Fifty million billion things to do, constant content and once in a while the Expeditions which bring a Questline for you to complete which gives you even more content among all save files! very nice.
You can be:
Merchant
Black market merchant
Outlaw
Explorer
War-Criminal
Real estate owner
Flying real estate owner
And so much more, if you want a game that you can just launch every once in a while and just fly around in a spaceship well this is the one for you.

Bugs include- towers cannot be placed at ALL if your keyboard isnt on the english setting, remapping keys has a delay of about 2 minutes, difficutly is non-existent as I was able to clear nightmare stages after about 2 hours no problem, mortar type towers are just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess trajectories are screwed, enemies get stuck in furniture and thats not even half of it!

For a 2 year old game this is a COMPLETE waste of time and money, i recommend getting the first one honestly. It has dated graphics but thats the only downside to it. If you dont want to spend the money just play the second one, the microtransactions are managable and completely optional, hell the playerbase is double the size of this one.

Ok for real, one of the best roguelikes ive ever played, every class is satisfying each race is satisfying, the gameplay is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfying. Looks simple, feels simple but at the same time incredibly complex (if you want it).
Another note: BUY THE DLCS they are dirt cheap and add hours upon hours of content. If you beat the game with the race/class combo from the dlc you can put the class on any race and create some absolute insanity, in multiplayer this is even more prevalent. Play with friends for more fun fun fun!

Final note: enable quality of death beta in steam properties, it changes the game from alpha lookin trash to an actual videogame. Its the only negative i would have, that the development takes too long and that the actual game is hidden in a beta but hey if thats what it takes imma do it and you should too.

Very nice, a proper rhythm shooter with famous vocalists that hit HARD as hell.
Mega approve, mega recommend. The guns are SMOOTH with the rhythm, all of them feel good as hell.
My only gripe is that you can only bring 2 of them at a time limiting your playstyle.

Relaxing, and overall wonderful to play once in a while. The atmoshpere really gets to you eventually and even if youre sad you eventually go happy mode cause of the funny bouncy slimes.
Lets see how slime rancher 2 will do hm?

While not as immersive as World, the game gripped me with its new movement mechanics, wirebugs.
Grappling hooks that recharge over time allow for insane play potential, jumping over monsters and evading attacks with ease.
If youre looking for a MH game to start with, this one wins. Its much better over world in terms of ease of access. The only downsides it has are the obviously downgraded graphics (it is a swithc port) the OVERWHELMING ammount of systems (the buddy system is absolutely unnecessary and bloated) and the VILE VILE AND VICIOUS KEYBINDS. Change those as soon as possible or you will not have a pleasant experience, adhere to youtube for more instructions.

Overall I recommend it a lot, difficult at the beginning but very rewarding and satisfying once you learn it.
